Growing up, I watched my mother gently boil dried hibiscus petals into a deep ruby-red tea. The aroma would fill the entire house, warm, slightly tart, and unmistakably comforting. It wasn't marketed as a wellness drink, and it certainly wasn't a trend. It was simply part of life. It was what we shared with family, what we reached for during quiet moments, and what reminded us to slow down and care for ourselves.
That memory never left me. Years later, it became a mission.
